POST-LAUREAM TRAINING IN E-LEARNING: THE GESCOM MASTER PROJECT

Session
Employability and online learning

The paradigm of knowledge society, the development of job sharing processes oriented by a post-fordist logic and the post-modern scenarios are the three guidelines orienting educational research on higher education.
We need to focus on local learning needs and opportunities. We have to look at territorial frameworks using a systemic approach to economical and social dimensions. Universities and other higher education agencies must be given education and research tasks in order to contribute to knowledge development and spreading processes for the development of local systems. The technical and applied knowledge production processes, the human resources development processes, technological innovation dissemination and transfer (spin-off), collective learning processes are all specific for a particular kind of territory.
In this context, university system must be committed to develop educational and training networks among local agents, enhancing the already existing knowledge resources and promoting new knowledge construction processes opening up territorial resources so that educational and training system can be used as a strategic resource for the development of the country.
The GESCOM master course is aimed at training professionals able to activate, manage and evaluate individual and organisational learning processes, also making use of information and communication technologies (IC) in public and private company contexts in the management and development of human resources area.
The Master course already has a six-year experience, with a large number of degree holders already satisfactorily placed in the working world. It is one of the avant-garde experiences on the national panorama, as it makes use of sophisticated e-learning methods (supplied in ASP Mode - Application Server Provider). Thanks to these methods, participants can be educated in their homes or in the workplace.
